Totara has Talent

We had some very courages students who entered Yaldhurst's Got Talent. On Wednesday we had the finals. Everyone did so well and we are waiting to find out on Friday who is going to win.

Fun with the Police

Today was our last visit from Officer Myree. We revisited our discussion from last time where we were looking at a scenario that could happen in real life. We discussed what the bully could do, what the victim could do and what anyone watching could do in the situation. We were put into groups and each group was given a scenario that we needed to come up with a solution for. We then role played these to the class.

Officer Myree also took us outside to see the police car. We go to have a sit in it, look at the lights and hear the siren going. It was lots of fun and really loud.

Kids Election

Today we are having a Kids Election. Totara took themselves over to the voting booth to vote. We were mostly excited, but also a little bit nervous. Check it out.

 

PTA Fathers Day Fun

Sunday was a beautiful day, which I'm sure the PTA were very thankful for. They had worked hard to put together a wonderful time for Yaldhurst families to come down and celebrate Dads.  I popped down to see what was happening. Here are some photos:

Week 8

We have had a very busy week and have done so many different things. A number of our girls went and played football with other girls from around the city. We worked furiously to finish our Puppet Theatres and you can check out all our hard work on each blog. We also learnt some Ukulele and began learning all out the Election.
